Class Levels
The classes will be broken into two categories and everybody is encouraged to come out to all the classes. Note that the Advanced classes will be taught at a higher level, so if you think they may beyond you, feel free to sit and take in the awesomeness.
Advanced: You are an enthusiastic Lindy Hopper, have Hellzapoppin’ favourited, go out dancing as often as you can, and have at least three Lindy Hop event t-shirts in your drawer. You may be a teacher in your scene, or just an avid and confident dancer. If someone asks you if that last move was 6-count or 8-count you have to think about it, because it’s just not something you consider anymore: you just dance.
Advanced-Intermediate: You are a keen and accomplished Lindy Hopper, with little worry for the tempos that are played. You explore styling and flair variations while still cherishing the glory of basic steps. You have been dancing anywhere from 6 months to all your life.
If you have any questions about the levels, please contact Matthew Isenor (matthew@toetappinswing.com).
Tickets
There are two ticket prices, one for the whole weekend of events (including dances, workshops and forums) and another if you are just interested in the classes on Saturday and Sunday. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us, (matthew@toetappinswing.com).
Out of Towners, use Discount Code (outoftown) to receive a $10 discount on your registration.
More info and schedules will be added as we get more info.
