Toe Tappin’ Swing is a Swing Dance company providing lessons and services in Calgary, Alberta.  Started in July of 2009 Toe Tappin’ Swing is owned and operated by Matthew Isenor.

Matthew Isenor

Matthew Isenor is known for his contagious enthusiasm and fun-loving approach to Swing Dancing. As a teacher, he keeps his students smiling and learning in creative ways in lessons and on the social dance floor. Specializing in East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa and Vernacular Jazz, Matthew loves dancing to live jazz & big band music. The athletic and energetic aspects of swing dancing keep him constantly looking to improve his personal dancing and help others achieve their dancing goals.

Matthew started his dance career at the age of nine and has a background in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Break Dancing. He started Swing Dancing in 2002 and has been addicted ever since. After teaching and performing with Red Hot Swing in Victoria, BC he became the organizer of the University of Victoria Swing Dance Club, where he taught lessons and organized events such as Swing of War. In 2009, Matthew moved to Calgary to start up the Toe Tappin’ Swing dance company. As Calgary’s professional Lindy Hop instructor, his goal is to bring Calgary to the forefront of the Canadian Swing Dancing scene.
